Making a Spectacle of Oneself

The spectacles were a great find, enabling a unique composition. The wonderfully worn body shows deep grooves within such dense wood. Using such a curious, "warty" head, age was suggested to this learned character. A stooping body, peering look, maybe a librarian way beyond their years.
